New favourite...

We loveeeeeeeee clothing with details on the back! It's so pretty! Plus you can wear something plain on the front but it's still dressed up with the detail on the back. You can find dresses or tops with back detail anywhere now too. I got one in primark?! (for 4 quid as well!) here's some favourites...

these dresses are very fancy but we love the dress on the right it's gorgeous!

Then this is my top (that's why the picture isn't great haha) but I really like it because it's simple and goes with anything. It can be everyday or going out

We also liked Carrie's dress on the Carrie diaries, the dress she wore on the final episode because the back was really nice! But the front of it was a bit... pink? I don't know how to say it? frilly, pleated, fancy? I don't know but we loved the back of it!

DIY...

So we go through like, a billion magazines, and once we have read every single word and looked at every single picture of some ridiculously gorgeous person, we don't really know what to do with them and they just end up sitting in a pile some where. So what we decided do is stick all our favourite pages and pictures on our walls. I am also in love with Marilyn Monroe and love her quote: 

"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring"

so I decided that I wanted it on my wall and used my magazines to do this! I know it's really simple and not that amazing but I think it looks really good and makes the walls of my room a lot less boring and more me.

But the best thing about this is you can do what ever you want with them and use whatever pictures you want too.

In love with...

Skater dresses.
They are so simple but we are in complete and utter love with them! They can be worn whenever, wherever, for whatever, because they are so simple and can be so easily dressed up! For the day you could just wear it with a denim jacket and trainers, but then at night it can be dressed up with high heels a leather jacket and some jewellery!

Basically a life-saver...

The greatest thing in the world at the moment for hair has got to be Batiste Dry Shampoo! It works so well, and you can get so many different scents or colours and even ones which volumise! (Is that how you spell it?) Any way its a life saver and if you haven't got any we recommend it because it makes mornings so much easier.

Films...

Okay... so I have decided that we have an extremely unhealthy obsession with films. We are constantly talking to each other about films that we have recently watched and telling each other to watch these amazing films or T.V series, and because of Tumblr we are always finding new ones to talk about! One of our favourite films though has to be The Breakfast Club. To be honest, it's probably because of Brian, I mean...

...anyway, we decided to do Breakfast Club Inspired Outfits. A lot of the clothes are from topshop or river island or newlook.

Hair Envy...

So many celebrities seem to have/had bright hair at the moment and we're getting extreme hair envy! It probably doesn't help that so many people on tumblr have perfect coloured hair either! We are also completely in love with pastel hair at the moment though. It's so pretty! click the pictures to enlarge them.

The only problem is, to have pastel coloured hair your hair has to be really light to begin with, and I'm not sure if I'm ready to fully bleach my dark hair yet! But I do have some semi permanent dyes from when I had streaks underneath my hair. I used Directions and it's really good and easy to apply! You can basically get it in any colour too. There must be about a billion hair tutorials on youtube as well that can help so much!

Tie Dye...

where ever we go we seem to see someone in tie-dye at the moment! It seems to be all over the shops and so many people we know have done it them selves!

We love the red top from newlook and it goes so well with denim shorts or a skirt. So summery!

We really want to have a go at tie dying too and can't wait to tie dye in the summer holidays, so maybe we will post our tie dye clothes then!

can I just say though, I was styling tie dye years ago....

SHARPIES...

As we said before, we LOVE doing our nails and the other day my mum brought home some metallic Sharpies that write on anything, so we decided to see if they wrote over nail varnish?

So, I painted my nails with miss sporty black nail varnish and - once it had dried - started drawing over it! It works! And is really easy to use! (apart from the fact that I'm not very good at using my left hand) I just did simple lines on my nails but because the pens were so easy to use you could do absolutely anything! Spots, writing, flowers, random shapes, .... anything!

 The Miss Sporty nail varnishes are really good and the brush on this one makes it really easy to paint your nails quickly.

the only problem I found with them is that when you put a top coat over it, it can smudge quite easily, so if you put a top coat on your nails just be careful!

BINTM is back!

It's finally here! Britiain and Ireland's Next Top Model is back for another year with Dannii Minogue as a judge. It begins Thursday the 20th June at 8 pm on Sky Living. Until then though, you can check out the website with loads of videos of the judges and competitions! We can't wait!!!

Summer Nails!

We love doing our nails! And we love to do our nails differently or patterned,  so we decided to do our nails for summer and this is how we did them!

here are the colours we used:

 and this is how we did it!

to make flower shapes just put four dots of nail varnish  near each other on to your nail and then join them up in the middle!

and then you're done!
